What people say about the Maidstone WingTsun Martial Arts School of Excellence
Brandon and Tyler Knight (age 5 and 4)
When did you start WingTsun (WT)? – Brandon Jan 04 and Tyler
Brandon and Tyler joined WT to make friends and to arm them for later life and to help them deal with any future problems effectively. I like the classes as they allow Brandon and Tyler to make friends, help increase their fitness, make them more alert and overall give them good health. I find the instructors friendly and approachable and at a good level for the kids age group. I general about the school I like the atmosphere, the positive attitude and attention to life skills. Both enjoy the game side incentive to earn stripes and badges etc and enjoy learning life skills words and their meanings.
I am just beginning to see Brandon understanding the words of the week and their meanings. Although because of his age he doesn’t always apply it, it is gradually sinking in and the basic grasp of why he is there in the first place. The same with Tyler but to a lesser degree, (because of the age).

When did you start WingTsun (WT)?
They make me feel very welcome. They made you feel a part of a team. They have given me so much confidence. I have also lost weight which I haven’t done in a long time. I am starting to fill good about myself.

When did you start WingTsun (WT)?
I started WT as a form of self defence plus because I love full contact sports. Another reason is for fitness plus I think it’s great for self confidence. The instructors are easy to approach with loads of enthusiasm. The best thing about WT for me is the confidence it installs plus art itself.
Benjamin Bailey (age 6)
Rainham, Kent
When did you start WingTsun (WT)?
We joined Ben into the WingTsun as we felt it would improve his self confidence, to learn self control, improve his concentration and to keep him healthy. Ben really enjoys his classes as he is learning martial arts in a fun way. He has made lots of friends at the school and enjoys the social events the school puts on for the children e.g. Halloween party etc Ben has come along way since starting WT and has learnt valuable morals as well as learning to work in a team. It is a great way for him to keep fit. He has also applied some of his self defence moves at school to keep him from being bullied.
Mark Fitzgerald (age 15)

When did you start WingTsun (WT)?
Did you do any other martial art before WT, If so what style? – Karate and Boxing
I originally joined WT for self defence, to increase my self confidence, a hobby and increase my health. I enjoy every part of the classes; but I mainly like the self defence part. I like that all the students and instructors are really down to earth, you can get along with them. I especially like the martial art itself, its background and how to deal with people. The areas of the programme that have benefited me the most are my fitness level as well as my self defence and self esteem. I think that if you are looking to do a martial art that this is the one for you.
